Rich:
The attached photo is my bike (and your seat) on the south side of
Flaming Gorge.
I purchased a seat from you in Feb 2005. After about 2 years of using
your seat on my FJR1300, it has been the best add-on for my bike. I've
done 1100 miles in one day and my backside was fine. I've also done two
6,000 mile trips (about 300-350 miles/day) through the Western US and had
no problems whatsoever. Others who have ridden my bike have complemented
me by saying, "That's the most comfortable seat I've ever sat on."
Your work speaks for itself. Thanks for making such a great product.

Hi Rich:
Rode into Orlando at 5:15 yesterday. Had a great trip, and thanks to
your seat, the trip back was a lot more comfortable than the trip out.
After I left your shop (despite the rain and the traffic) I rode to south
of Portland that night. After seeing the weather you've been having,
I'm sure glad I made it out when I did. It rained all day the next day,
but after that I didn't hit rain again until Memphis.
Basically, I took I-5 to Bakersfield, cut across to I-40 and stayed on
it until Memphis. Then I took I-55 south to I-10 and headed east.
Picked up I-75 and headed south to Orlando. Covered 3857 miles
with no problems. The RT ran great all the way and use d no oil.
Seat seems to fit fine. Since you installed it the bike's mileage has
increased, my sex life has improved and my complexion has
cleared up.
Not a bad deal.
Cheers,
John Webber

Just want to let you know that my new seat is great! After that final adjustment it is now what I call "My Seat". No aftermarket seat can accomplish the fit that "My Seat" has. I may have been their most of the day but it was worth it. You see when your on the road having a good time the last thing you want to think about is your sore butt. With a good seat I guess that's good advertisement. Roxie and I rode over 260 miles that day after we left your shop.
About time spent waiting, because of the people and stories by other riders and your self that makes the time go by quickly. Doesn't matter what they ride or their profession. When it all boils down were all "Bikers".
Keep up the good work. I also greatly appreciate the good work and skill that your crew has.

Hi Rich,
We're the patient Canadians who waited last week while you worked on our Electra Glide seat until after 10:00 PM. I can't tell you how much we appreciated you and all of your crew who worked overtime to get us out of the shop in one day. We know they (and you) would rather have gone home after that very busy day than stay late. Please pass on our appreciation and many thanks.
I know you've heard this countless times before, but the seat you built is awesome. We left Seattle to meet friends from home and carry on to Baker City, Oregon for the Hell's Canyon Rally. We spent the weekend there riding and then returned home to BC. We rode a total of about 1500 miles after leaving your shop and not once did I experience the pain that I normally do. We hit some of the worst weather that any of us have ridden in including probably the worst hail storm on the way down and hard, steady rain for all the 500 miles home. Quite honestly it demanded complete concentration the whole time and I know from the past that would have been a lmost impossible with my butt as sore as it used to get after a few hours riding.
That being said, besides enhancing our riding pleasure tremendously, I truly feel you have enhanced our safety by eliminating pain and reducing fatigue. I'll stand by that 100% and won't hesitate to recommend your work.
Thanks again for the comfortable miles that we will ride from now on.
Cheers, eh,
Ed and Arlene Pretty
PS. Shoulda got the Feng Shui upgrade. We'll be back for comfort stitch backrest covers (rider and passenger) whenever you get a set off another bike. Please hold a set and we will check in by email from time to time.
PPS. Thanks to the leather, our sheepskin is now retired except perhaps for our dead-of-winter runs.

I have just completed a 2,500 mile drive on my BMW K100 RT motorcycle from
Log Angeles to Cabo San Lucas and back. I used the new seat that you constructed for me.
You may recall that you built my motorcycle seat in order to reduce
tailbone pain which is a result of my degenerative arthritis. I would
like you to know that over the 2,500 miles, I did not have a single
problem with my tailbone.
I would like to thank you for your excellent work.
The seat you constructed has enabled me to
substantially expand the number of miles which I am able to ride ......

I wanted to thank you for the speedy, professional service you
provided to us when we purchased the Honda Shadow at Lynnwood Cycle Barn.
Thank you, thank you, thank you ... the seat fits and feels perfect .......

We just wanted to let you know how grateful we are for the job you did on our seat!!
Please extend a sincere thanks to everyone at Rich's who had a hand in making
us custom comfortable on our scoot! The end product was worth every penny we
spent and then some.
It's always a pleasure to work with a true professional who really cares
about his customers and their satisfaction ...

It was really great that you took the time out of your busy
schedule to redo and reshape my seat.
I really didn't know
'how disadvantaged I was until I got that new seat
(I thought those aches and pains were just what comes
with riding a Harley ... but I was wrong .....

From Tom
Well, here I am back in Maine after riding about 3500 miles on that seat you made for my BMW
R100RT. I don't recommend that everyone make a coast to coast trip just to check out the
fit of their new Rich's seat, but if they did, I'm sure they would appreciate the benefits.
I must say that the seat you created made my RT into a
completely different riding motorcycle.... it's amazing.
Most importantly, I would like to thank you for squeezing me into your busy schedule and
creating such a work of art for my bike. You were right, the building of the seat is
taking away everything that isn't a seat, and that you did! And, to do so on a moments
notice is greatly appreciated.
